Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is leaving for New Delhi on Monday (August 18) night to attend the NDA leaders’ meeting scheduled to be held on August 20, and take part in the nomination programme of the NDA’s Vice-Presidential candidate.

During the visit, Mr. Naidu is expected to meet several Union Ministers, according to an official release.

Meanwhile, IT Minister Nara Lokesh is scheduled to meet various Union Ministers for discussions on key pending projects, in the national capital on August 18.

He will seek faster clearances for pending projects and discuss some new initiatives planned in the State.

A press release said that Mr. Lokesh met Union Ministers on multiple occasions, and had been actively pursuing the State’s interests since the formation of the coalition government last year.

It was mentioned that Mr. Lokesh’s efforts helped in bringing new projects to the State, and ensured quicker approvals from the Centre.

He is expected to present a set of proposals to each one of the Union Ministers during the visit.
