Changes in pattern of train services on August 22 and 26 due to track renewal works at Podanur yard

In view of track renewal works at Podanur yard, changes will be made in the pattern of some train services.

Train No.16607 Kannur – Coimbatore Express, scheduled to leave Kannur at 6 a.m., will be short terminated at Palakkad on August 22 and 26.  The train will only run from Kannur to Palakkad, and not from Palakkad to Coimbatore on these days.

Train No.66615 Mettupalayam – Podanur MEMU, scheduled to leave Mettupalayam at 1.05 p.m., will be short terminated at Coimbatore on August 22 and 26. The train will only run from Mettupalayam to Coimbatore and not from Coimbatore Junction to Podanur Junction on these days.

Train No.16721 Coimbatore – Madurai Express, scheduled to leave Coimbatore at 2.30 p.m., will instead leave from Pollachi at 3.30 p.m. on August 22 and 26. The train will not run from Coimbatore Junction to Pollachi; it will leave from Pollachi and run up to Madurai on those days.

Train No.66616 Podanur – Mettupalayam MEMU, scheduled to leave Podanur at 3.30 p.m., will instead leave from Coimbatore at 3.45 p.m. on August 22 and 26.  The train will not run from Podanur Junction to Coimbatore Junction; it will leave from Coimbatore Junction and run up to Mettupalayam on these days.
