CM Stalin sanctions ₹10 lakh solatium for journalist’s family

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Wednesday condoled the death of R.D. Sakthivel, a senior journalist who worked with Nakkheeran magazine. He also announced a solatium of ₹10 lakh to be paid to the family of the journalist from the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund. According to an official press release, Mr. Stalin recollected Sakthivel’s writings on various topics including cinema, politics and literature and said he had been suffering from illness for the past six years.
