The Kerala Students Union (KSU) and the Students’ Federation of India (SFI) on Thursday (August 21) claimed to have made gains in union elections held in colleges affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University in Ernakulam.
The KSU claims to have retained the unions in Sree Sankara College, Kalady, Sacred Heart College, Thevara, Union Christian College, Aluva, Nirmala College, Muvattupuzha, Bharata Mata Law College, Choondi, Bharat Mata Arts College, Choondi, and Al-Ameen College, Edathala.
The SFI claimed to have recorded an impressive victory in colleges that include Maharaja’s College, Ernakulam, St. Albert’s College, Government Law College, Ernakulam, Cochin College, MES College, Kunnukara, and Government. College, Manimalakunnu.
