Students of Shamugha Polytechnic College, Thirumalaisamudhram, will undergo industrial training with stipend under a memorandum of understanding signed between SASTRA, deemed to be a university, and HL Mando Anand India, Chennai.
The students will now do their third year industrial training at HL Mando Anand India’s manufacturing unit with free boarding, lodging and a monthly stipend of ₹12,000.
The industrial training provider company, a joint venture between HL Mando Corporation of Korea and Anand Group of India established in 1997, is engaged in the manufacture of high performance steering, suspension, and brake systems for Indian and global vehicle manufacturers. The MoU has been signed with the Tamil Nadu Government’s Department of Technical Education’s consonance, according to a university release.
