Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat will hold a three-day lecture series to lay out the 100-year journey of the organisation and the Sangh’s vision for India, in New Delhi from Tuesday (26 August, 2025).

The lecture series, part of RSS’s outreach programme for its centenary year, is expected to be attended by around 1,300 people. Mr Bhagwat will share his thoughts on a host of topics, including the “need to go beyond colonial-era parameters of development” to make the country more self-reliant and globally influential.

Personalities from all walks of life, including judges, politicians, bureaucrats, minority communities as well as national and foreign media owners and editors are invited for the event scheduled to be held at Vigyan Bhawan, according to RSS national publicity in-charge Sunil Ambekar.

“From former Supreme Court Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi to senior surgeon Naresh Trehan, from sports personalities Abhinav Bindra, Kapil Dev to activists like Kailash Satyarthi are expected to come for the lecture series. We have also invited people from political parties who are in touch with us. Envoys of countries like U.S. and China among others are also invited,” said Mr. Ambekar.

Former Chief Justice of India J.S. Khehar, former Army Chief M.M Naravane, retired Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria, actor Manoj Joshi and sculptor-artist Ram Sutar will also be attending the event.

He added that the first two days of lectures by Mr. Bhagwat will focus on issues that impact the country along with RSS’s vision for India as well as on the role of swayamsevaks (RSS volunteers) in shaping the country.

On day three, Mr. Bhagwat will engage in a pre-submitted question-and-answer session with the participants.

A similar lecture series will be organised in Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Mumbai in months to come.
