Complaint against woman for filming Instagram reels at Guruvayur Temple pond

The Guruvayur Devaswom lodged a complaint against a woman, who allegedly filmed Instagram reels at the Guruvayur Srikrishna Temple pond and corridors in violation of a High Court ban.

The accused, identified as Jasmin Jaffar, reportedly shot videos on the temple’s sacred pond steps, where rituals like aarattu are held, and in the temple corridors, before posting them on Instagram.

Devaswom administrator O.B. Arun Kumar filed a complaint with the temple police, citing violation of the sanctity of the pond and disobedience of the High Court order prohibiting photography and videography in the restricted zones of the temple.
