Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) working president T. Jagga Reddy has donated ₹3 lakh to support the medical expenses of a seriously ill girl, Sushma, from Penugonda village in Kesamudram mandal of Mahabubabad district.
Sushma, who is currently 18 years old, fell ill at the age of nine after accidentally consuming some poison-laced chapatis. She has been confined to bed for the past nine years, and her family has been struggling to provide her with proper treatment due to financial constraints. Moved by Sushma’s plight, Mr. Jagga Reddy promised to help with her treatment at a corporate hospital in Hyderabad. He also assured that he would speak to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to ensure that the government bears the entire medical expenses.
