New Perambalur District Collector assumes charge

N. Mirunalini assumed charge as Collector of Perambalur district on Saturday. She replaces S. Arunraj, who has since been transferred.

In a brief interaction with reporters after taking charge, Ms. Mirunalini said she would take steps to ensure that the government schemes reached the masses and address people’s requirements and demands.

Prior to this, Ms. Mirunalini was Sub-Collector, Kancheepuram. Upon clearing the TNPSC Group-I exams in 2001, she joined the Department of Cooperation as a Deputy Registrar. She had served as Joint Registrar of Cooperatives in Pudukottai, Tiruchi, and Cuddalore districts and as Additional Registrar in Chennai. She was promoted to the Indian Administrative Service in 2023.
