Vishnu Vishal has announced the sequel to his hit sports drama Gatta Kusthi. The will co-produce the movie under his banner Vishnu Vishal Studios with Vels Film International.
The makers announced Gatta Kusthi 2 through a video. The video shows Vishnu Vishal and producer Ishari K Ganesh meeting to talk about the exciting prospect of a sequel to Gatta Kusthi.
Released on December 02, 2022, Gatta Kusthi revolved around Keerthi, a champion wrestler essayed by Aishwarya Lekshmi. and her husband Veera, played by Vishnu Vishal. The movie was directed by Chella Ayyavu, who returns to helm the sequel.
The second instalment will have the main cast of the original. Aishwarya, Vishnu Vishal, Munishkanth, Kaali Venkat, Karunas and Kaali Venkat will feature in the movie. Sean Roldan will compose music for the movie while Bharath Vikraman is the editor.
