Two persons were killed in a road accident after a car rammed their vehicles in Dindigul district on Monday. Naveen Balaji, 27, of Dindigul was driving the car to Dindigul from Tiruchi. When he was near Vadamadurai, he hit a two-wheeler. The rider Kanagaraj, 64, died on the spot. While attempting to flee, Naveen Balaji also hit a cyclist, Palanisamy, 55, who also died on the spot.
The public informed the patrol police about the accident. The police chased the car and secured Naveen Balaji. The Vadamadurai police are investigating.
