The BJP Mahila Morcha of Visakhapatnam city unit on Monday (September 1) held a protest at Asilmetta junction here, demanding that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi apologise to the nation for the alleged derogatory comments made in his presence by a Congress leader against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his mother. The protest was led by party district president M.M.N. Parasurama Raju. The protesters termed Mr. Rahul “unfit for politics” and accused the Congress of stooping to a low in its Bihar election campaign. They said the BJP was the only party that gave respect to women.
