Vandharai vazhavaikkum Chennai is not just a saying; it reflects the soul of Chennai and its open-hearted hospitality! I’m blessed to be a beneficiary of this, says Nina Reddy, Managing Director of Savera Hotel. 

As a young bride just out of college, I decided to make Madras my forever home! And in return, the city decided to welcome me and give me love over the last 45 plus years. I have been a part of the whole metamorphosis of Madras: and I have also changed by keeping pace.

Chennai is unique; it is like no other city in the whole world. Here we have our traditional values, and yet we are most progressive in our thinking. We lead simple, honest, humble lives, yet live in harmony! We work hard not to compete in the rat race but to become better versions of ourselves. We do not chase wealth, we value it.. The rich culture: broadminded people; the delicious food; the gorgeous weaves; the heady scent of malli poo; the wide expanse of the beaches; the ever-so-cool Kollywood movies; the divine places of worship; the soulful music in the sabhas; the heady aroma of the filter coffee makes me mad about Madras.

To this city I owe my everything and will be eternally grateful to God. I remain madly and deeply in love with Madras.
