RAMANATHAPURAM
A 65-year-old man died in a road accident near Peravur here on Tuesday.
Police said, A. Sundarambal, 62, while crossing the road near Peravur bus stand on Monday was hit by a Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation bus which went from Ramanathapuram towards Pattukottai.
As he was seriously injured, he was rushed to Ramanathapuram Government Medical College Hospital for treatment.
At hospital, during treatment, he succumbed to injuries.
Kenikkarai police have registered a case and further investigation is underway.
