Former Union Minister Anbumani Ramadoss on Thursday said that he will soon announce the alliance for the 2026 Assembly elections.

After participating in various functions in Dharmapuri district, the former Union Minister reached Salem on Thursday evening. The PMK cadre gave a grand welcome to Mr. Anbumani at Salem district border Thoppur.

Speaking to them, Mr. Anbumani said that the DMK government had fulfilled only 66 of its election promises, which is only 13%. A student must get 35 marks to pass the exams. But, DMK got only 13 marks and failed. So, people should not vote for the DMK. A DMK functionary was arrested for selling drugs for over ₹3,000 crore. The government is not able to handle the students’ issue or the farmers’ issue properly and detained farmers under the Goondas Act, Mr. Anbumani added.

Criticising the Chief Minister’s visit to foreign countries, Mr. Anbumani said that the Chief Minister claimed he attracted ₹3,000 crore investment from three companies in Germany. “I know why the Chief Minister went to foreign countries and I will explain that soon.” he added.
