The Kauvery Hospital, Alwarpet, on Thursday launched a wellness centre focussing on comprehensive care for women.
The Kauvery Women Wellness Center was inaugurated by Aravindan Selvaraj, co-founder and executive director, Kauvery Hospitals, actor Shalini Ajith, Kavitha Sundaravadanam, senior family physician, Meena Umachander, and Sabeeha T. S., senior consultants, obstetrics and gynaecology, Kauvery Hospitals.
“We are launching the Kauvery Women Wellness Centre, with the aim of empowering women through wellness. This centre is not limited to a single specialty, nor is it focused on just one phase of a woman’s reproductive life. It is designed to address the full spectrum of women’s health challenges, right from adolescence, through motherhood, and into perimenopause and beyond,” said Dr. Sabeeha.

Dedicated programs for adolescents, specialised clinics for conditions such as PCOS, fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, perimenopausal care and post menopausal care, incontinence clinic and essential services like vaccinations ensure that women receive comprehensive and personalised care—all under one roof, the experts stated.
