Belagavi Police help two lost children reunite with their families

Coordinated efforts by Belagavi Police led to two children who were lost in the crowd reuniting with their families in a few hours.

Ten-year-old Anmol Pariyar and his eight-year-old cousin Karthik Pariyar had left their house in Angol to witness at the Ganesh idol procession in Shivashakti Nagar.

But they did not return even after five hours. Their parents then complained to the police.

The police managed to work with a Home Guard and a 12-year-old boy Chetan Komannanavar who gave them the lead to trace the boys.

They had gone to Mandoli Road but had lost their way.

Police Commissioner Borase Bhushan Gulabrao has thanked Chetan and the Home Guard for their help.
