Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday said the Delhi government plans to partner with the corporate sector to effectively address Delhi’s three major challenges — pollution in the Yamuna, bad air and mounting garbage hills.
“Delhi’s challenges are enormous, but any problem can be solved if the government, industry, and society work together. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds can help solve three of the Capital’s inherited challenges,” Ms. Gupta said at an event in Raj Niwas. The CM appealed to private sector firms to adopt drains and establish small sewage treatment plants to prevent pollution from entering the Yamuna.
