Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science to set up digital campus

The Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Google Cloud and CloudReign Technologies to set up a Google Cloud digital campus. Genesis Cloud Laboratory was also inaugurated at an event held on Friday.

Siddharth Dalwadi, regional head, Google Cloud, delivered the chief guest address, in the presence of Priyanka Priyadarshini, regional manager, Google for Education; Karan Talwar, specialist, Google Workspace and Gemini; Lakshminarayanan N., director- strategic alliances, CloudReign Technologies; and Dwaraknath Cheyyur, co-founder and director, CloudReign Technologies. The presidential address was delivered by Anand Jacob Verghese, Chancellor of HITS. Ashok George Verghese, pro-chancellor; S. Ganesan, interim vice-chancellor, Aby Sam, executive director, and Enid Verghese Jacob, deputy director, were also present.
