Telangana Teachers’ Eligibility Test to be held from June 18

The Telangana Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TGTET)-June 2025, scheduled to be held for nine days across 16 sessions, will begin on Wednesday.

With 66 centres in 15 districts, the computer-based test will be organised for paper-1 (candidates wanting to teach classes 1 to 5) and paper-2 (candidates wanting to teach classes 6 to 8). In all, 1,83,653 applicants have registered for the test and a majority — 1,20,392 candidates — were for paper-2.

The test will be held from 9 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., and conclude on June 30.

Director of School Education Department, E. Naveen Nicolas, who is also the chairperson of TGTET, stated that all arrangements have been made to conduct the test in a smooth and fair manner.

Meanwhile, the Cyberabad Police prohibit the assembly of five or more persons within 200-metre radius of the examination centres in the commissionerate limits.

The order, issued by the Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty, the restrictions will remain in force from 6 a.m. on June 18 to 6 p.m. on June 30.
