More than 11,000 personnel of Eastern Naval Command (ENC) and their family members will participate in Yogandhra-2025 in the city on June 21.
These participants would be occupying around 10 enclosures along the 30-km-long RK Beach stretch. In a parallel display at sea, yoga would also be practised on board Indian Naval Ships anchored off Visakhapatnam coast, on the theme of âYoga for One Earth, One Health.â
Yoga protocol sessions will be conducted at various locationsâonboard ships in harbour and at sea, beaches, parade grounds, aircraft hangars, and parks.
The naval community will participate in âYoga Maha Kumbhâ activities, utilising the Namaste Yoga app and virtual yoga sessions by Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga.
Quiz, poster making, drawing competitions and lectures by experts will also be organised.
