A 19-year-old girl was killed in a road accident near Thuckalay police station on Thursday.
According to police the deceased has been identified as C. Godlin Abina, from Kaliyal locality. She was traveling with her father Christhuraj, on a two-wheeler on Thursday night, towards Nagercoil. The accident occurred when an empty taurus lorry attempted to overtake them, causing Christhuraj to lose balance.
