Violence against the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers in Kerala over the decades, as depicted by his party colleague C. Sadanandan Master during his speech in the Rajya Sabha on Monday (February 2, 2026), would move any human being to tears, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Tuesday (February 3, 2026).
“The inhuman suffering and atrocities, which are enough to send shivers down one’s spine, have been endured by BJP and RSS workers in Kerala for decades. The struggle waged by BJP and RSS workers against this cruel ideology, which involves cutting off someone’s limbs or taking their life simply for having a different ideology or disagreeing with certain views, cannot be described in words,” Mr. Shah said in a post on social media platform X.
“Every person who believes in democracy and democratic values should witness this struggle and sacrifice. Furthermore, those who falsely invoke freedom of speech and intolerance should also listen to Sadanandan Masterji’s speech. Perhaps then they will understand the struggle of Sadanandanji and countless others like him,” Mr. Shah said.
