Nutritious meal and anganwadi workers in Dindigul district continued their protests for the 15th day urging the State government to fulfil their 10-point charter of demands.

Hundreds of workers carried plates and spoons in their hands and rang bells, urging the authorities to fulfil their charter of demands. They said better pay, special pension, and dearness allowance should be provided to the nutritious meal and anganwadi workers. They said there should be pay parity. Vacancies should be filled and pension should be provided to them. They demanded that the workers should be given timely promotion. They urged the State government to fulfil their demands.
