The Andhra Pradesh Government has issued orders modifying certain survey numbers related to land allotments made to various institutions in the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) area of Amaravati.Â
The orders were issued through G.O.Ms.No.277 by the Municipal Administration and Urban Development (CRDA) Department on Wednesday (December 24, 2025).
According to the order, the government reviewed the land allocations earlier approved in G.O.Ms.No.226 dated November 12, 2025, based on the recommendations of the 20th Group of Ministers (GoM).Â
Principal Secretary to Government S. Suresh Kumar, in the GO, said that the matter was subsequently examined by the APCRDA Authority in its 55th meeting held on December 4 which authorised the Commissioner, APCRDA, to carry out necessary corrections in the survey numbers and seek government approval.
The government, after careful examination, approved modifications to specific survey numbers while making it clear that all other aspects of the original allotments, including land extent and conditions, remain unchanged. The revised order covers multiple categories of land allotments in Amaravati, including new proposals for educational institutions, central and State government organisations, banks, public sector undertakings and private institutions.
As part of the new proposals, land allotments have been approved for 11 institutions covering a total extent of 49.50 acres. In addition, revised extents totaling 42.30 acres have been approved for six institutions that were previously allotted land in 2025. The order also includes residential land allotments for banks and government institutions measuring 12.66 acres, and revisions to land allotments made between 2014 and 2019 involving an extent of about 16.29 acres, he said.
The government has authorised the Commissioner, Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority, Vijayawada, to take further action in accordance with the Amaravati Land Allotment Rules, 2017 and the Amaravati Land Allotment Regulations, 2017.Â
