Bhogapuram residents raise concerns over low voltage, frequent power cuts

Low voltage and frequent power interruptions are the major concerns for people living in several villages of Bhogapuram mandal, where the new airport was inaugurated recently. People living in Bhogapuram, Savaravilli, Munjeru and surrounding villages submitted petitions to Nellimarla MLA Lokam Naga Madhavi during the Praja Darbar event at her office on Friday.

Several villagers said that poles were shifted during road widening, but power was restored in their areas. Over the telephone, Ms. Madhavi requested APEPDCL officials to resolve their grievances as early as possible.

She said that direct interaction with the public was being taken up every week with the directive from the Deputy Chief Minister, Pawan Kalyan, who had insisted on people-first administration at the ground level.

She took petitions related to land disputes, new pensions and others and the issues were brought to the notice of the respective departments.
