A total of 62,858 applications were received between December 19, 2025 and January 30, 2026, since the publication of the draft voter roll under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise in Krishnagiri. The applications were received through special camps organised on December 27, 28, 2025 and on January 3, 4 and 5, 2026, respectifully.
Voters whose names were left out in the draft voter roll and first-time voters who sought inclusion with January 1, 2026 as the qualifying date made their applications through Form 6 and expatriates through Form 6 A.
Those seeking elimination of names due to duplicate entries and death used Form 7 and those seeking changes to voter details submitted Form 8.
The objections received during the period via Forms 9, 10, 11, 11 A and 11 B were accepted, uploaded and disclosed to the recognised political parties through Booth Level Officers (BLOs).
Under this, a total of 42,662 applications were received under Form 6; five applications under Form 6 A; 4773 applications under Form 7 and 15,418 applications under Form 8.
According to the District Election Officer and Collector C. Dinesh Kumar, the BLOs are perusing these applications and are currently carrying out door-to-door verification. The verification will be completed and decisions will be taken by the BLOs. As per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, the final electoral roll will be released on February 17, he added.
