Enthusiasm and fervour marks Jagan’s birthday celebration’s in A.P., Europe

The birthday of YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was celebrated with enthusiasm and fervour by party leaders, cadres and supporters, both in India and across Europe.

Members of the YSRCP Europe unit, along with supporters from the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Switzerland, gathered to celebrate Mr. Jagan’s birthday at Eindhoven in Netherlands. The celebrations turned emotional as speakers recalled Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s political journey and praised his people-centric governance, transparency and unwavering commitment to the welfare of the poor and marginalised sections of society.

Addressing the gathering, YSRCP national spokesperson Karthik Yellapragada described Mr. Jagan as an inspirational leader whose politics was rooted in compassion, credibility and social justice. He said Mr. Jagan’s leadership continues to motivate party cadres and supporters across the globe to uphold the ideals of welfare-oriented governance and public service.

Europe core team leaders Sarathi Reddy Vanga, Krishna Teja Reddy Gaddam and Srinivas Reddy Sanikommu highlighted Mr. Jagan’s governance model in Andhra Pradesh, particularly his focus on welfare schemes, transparency in administration and empowerment of the underprivileged. They said his model became a benchmark and source of pride for YSRCP supporters living abroad. The venue echoed with chants of “Jai Jagan”. The members also discussed plans to strengthen the party’s presence across Europe.

Meanwhile, grand celebrations were held at the YSRCP central office in Tadepalli. Speaking on the occasion, YSRCP State coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said Mr. Jagan delivered transformative, people-centric governance that changed the lives of ordinary families, and that public affection for him remains undiminished despite the party’s recent electoral setback.

Mr. Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy paid floral tributes to the statue of late Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy and inaugurated the celebrations, which included cake cutting, distribution of saris to the poor and the launch of a blood donation camp. He said Mr. Jagan governed with the welfare of every family as his core objective, implementing promises without discrimination.

He said that the people of Andhra Pradesh had now realised what they lost after witnessing the coalition government’s one-and-a-half-year rule, and recalled that development which would normally take five decades was achieved in just five years under Mr. Jagan’s leadership.

MLC Murugudu Hanumantha Rao said Mr. Jagan enjoys unparalleled public acceptance for redefining governance by making eligibility the sole criterion for welfare delivery. Several senior party leaders and functionaries attended the programme. The celebrations concluded on a note of unity and renewed commitment to the party’s people-first agenda.
