The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) will conduct its monthly Suvidha Samagam (grievances redress meeting) on February 11, at ESI Corporation, Sub Regional Office, Ramanathapuram. The meeting is part of ESIC’s system for addressing grievances on medical benefits, cash benefits and service delivery for insured persons and their dependents.
The Coimbatore Sub-Region covers around 12.5 lakh insured persons across Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, and the Nilgiris, with services delivered through 53 ESI dispensaries, two mobile dispensaries, the Modified Employer Utilisation Dispensary (MEUD), and ESI hospitals in Varadarajapuram, Singanallur, and Chettipalayam. Cash benefits are processed through 18 ESIC branch offices in the region.
Senior officials including the Deputy Director, Medical Superintendent (ESICH, Coimbatore), Resident Medical Officers, Regional Administrative Medical Officer, and Medical Referee will address the grievances.
