Four held for duping people by promising 2BHK houses

Four persons, including a woman, were arrested by the Commissioner’s Task Force, Khairatabad Zone, on Tuesday for cheating unsuspecting individuals by promising allotment of houses under the Telangana government’s 2BHK housing scheme.

The accused were identified as Mekala Jyothi, Pavan Sunil Singh, L. Nitin Kumar and Mekala Rahul. Police said Jyothi, a social worker, was the key conspirator in the fraud.
