Jawahirullah urges T.N. government to meet demands of protesting nurses

Manithaneya Makkal Katchi president M.H. Jawahirullah on Tuesday (December 23, 2025) urged the Tamil Nadu government to consider the demands of nurses who have been protesting for job regularisation.

In a statement, Mr. Jawahirullah referred to the recent protest by nurses working on a consolidated pay basis, demanding job regularisation. “I urge the Tamil Nadu government to immediately fulfil their demands, including job regularisation, and release all the nurses who have been detained and kept in a marriage hall,” he added.
