A local holiday has been declared for Tiruchi district on December 30 in view of the opening of the Paramapatha Vasal, the main event of the Vaikunda Ekadasi festival at Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Srirangam, on the day.
January 24 (Saturday) will be a working day in view of the local holiday, Collector V. Saravanan said in a press release.
