The Puducherry government has decided to convene the Legislative Assembly on February 12, 2026 to present a vote on account for the year 2026-27, said Speaker R. Selvam.
The Assembly will convene around 9. 30 a.m on the day for Chief Minister N. Rangasamy to present a vote on account. The supplementary demands for grants for the current financial year would also be presented, the Speaker said.
The government has decided to take the vote on account route to get expenditure sanction for the first few months of the next financial year due to the upcoming Assembly polls.
The last session of the Assembly was held in September 2025 for key legislations, including for passing the Ease of Doing Business Bill.
