TG SAFE orders withdrawal of specific batch of Paracet 500 tablets, alerts consumers

The Telangana Standards Authority for Food and Essential Drugs (TG SAFE) has directed the withdrawal of a specific batch of Paracet 500 tablets, containing paracetamol IP 500 mg, from market. The batch identified for withdrawal is APRCT-2501. TG SAFE has advised consumers to check the batch number printed on their Paracet 500 tablet packs and avoid using the medicine if it matches the recalled batch. Consumers who have the affected batch have been advised to consult a pharmacist or doctor for further guidance.
