Three persons, including a father and daughter, were killed on the spot in a head-on collision between a public transport bus and a motorcycle in Konnur of Gokak taluk in Belagavi district on Thursday.
The victims have been identified as Saif Mulla, 29, his daughter Siza Mulla, 4, and Imtiyaz Badagav, 35.
The bus heading to Gokak from Hidkal hit the motorcycle which was coming from the opposite direction, killing all the three on the spot. Another girl identified as Jihan sustained severe injuries and was being treated at a private hospital.
Saif Mulla was riding the motorcycle at the time of the mishap, the police said. The Gokak police have registered a case.
