Two youths from Madurai held with country-made guns near Tiruchuli

A. Mukkulam police have arrested two persons from Madurai and seized two country-made guns along with rounds used for hunting wild animals, on Saturday night.

The police identified the accused as T. Marudhamalai (36) of Palamedu and S. Murugan (43) of Vadipatti.

The police said that a team intercepted a two-wheeler during a vehicle check and found the accused in possession of two country-made guns. The police said that the accused were going to a farm to hunt rabbits.

Both were arrested under the provisions of Arms Act and sent to judicial custody.
