Water level in Mullaperiyar dam stands at 123 feet

Water level in Mullaperiyar dam on Tuesday stood at 123 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 296 cusecs and a discharge of 700 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level was 45.83 ft. (the maximum level is 71 ft.) with an inflow of 96 cusecs and a discharge of 369 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 4,392.19 mcft.
