Bank security guard’s gun goes off accidentally, none injured

The gun of a security guard at the State Bank of India (SBI) main branch office, Shivaji Chowk, in the district headquarters town of Adilabad, accidentally went off on Tuesday morning.

No one was injured in the freak accident as the incident took place before the bank opened for the day, police said.

According to sources, the incident occurred when the security guard was cleaning his licensed weapon at the bank’s main branch office before the commencement of the business hours.

The bullet hit the concrete roof of the building.
