The Pithapuram police arrested three persons on Tuesday for their alleged posts against Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan on X, (formerly known as Twitter).
In an official release, Pithapuram Circle Inspector G. Srinivas said that the trio has posted and shared offensive comments about Mr. Pawan Kalyan by tagging a photo from the International Yoga Day celebrations, held in Visakhapatnam on June 21.
“The accused have been identified as K. Venkata Sai Varma of Uppalaguptam in Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema district, Pamula Ramanjaneyulu of Machilipatnam and Sk. Mohammad of Hyderabad City,” said CI Mr. Srinivas. A case has been registered and investigation is ongoing.
