Candidates of UGCET-25 will be given a final opportunity to correct mistakes in their applications through online mode from July 1 to July 4, according to a statement issued by H. Prasanna, executive director, Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).

He urged only those who genuinely need corrections to use this window.

More than 10,000 candidates had submitted requests when the slot booking for corrections was open. To avoid calling such a large number of students to Bengaluru from across the State, KEA decided to provide an online correction facility. Additionally, during the CET seat allotment consultation held on June 28 in various parts of the State, many parents also requested this option, he noted.

As KEA opened the online correction window, the previously planned offline document verification at its office from July 2 to 4 has been cancelled, following the opening of the online correction window. So, even candidates who had booked slots for offline verification need not visit the KEA office. Instead, they too must complete their corrections online, the KEA executive director clarified in a statement.

The statement said that if the details on the verification slip are correct, candidates need not log in again. Only those who must make corrections should do so. He advised candidates not to open the portal “just to check” and then mistakenly make changes.

Those who make corrections can download their updated verification slip after July 5. Candidates can correct their category, income, and 371(J) certificate RD numbers through the online portal.

Class ‘A’ candidates (whose details could not be verified online through SATS number), those whose rural study or Kannada medium study details have not been verified, must complete the verification at their respective colleges or the nearest government PU college by July 4, the statement said.

Candidates from Class ‘B’ to Class ‘O’ who have not yet verified their documents must visit the KEA office between July 1 and 4 for verification.
