A fire broke out in the wee hours of Thursday (July 3, 2025) at Tirupati tyre manufacturing unit in the Katedan industrial area of Hyderabad. No injuries or casualties were reported.
The fire control room received a distress call at 4.29 a.m. Fire tenders from Rajendranagar, Chandrayangutta and Gowliguda were rushed to the scene, along with a firefighting robot unit from Madhapur.
Three fire engines were deployed to contain the blaze, which was brought under control after several hours. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and officials said an investigation is underway.
Preliminary estimates of the damage are being assessed.
