An elderly man aged about 80 was booked by Gopalapuram police in Hyderabad for rash and negligent driving after he rammed his sedan into multiple vehicles near the curve after the Iskcon temple towards YMCA on Friday (July 4, 2025) morning.

A number of vehicles were damaged after a speeding car crashed into them in Hyderabad.

According to an officer from the Gopalapuram police, the elderly man was reportedly overspeeding when he lost control of the vehicle and collided with a number of parked vehicles.
“A woman at the scene sustained a head injury and was rushed to hospital in an ambulance. Following the incident, the man’s blood pressure reportedly shot up due to the tension, and he was also taken to hospital for medical attention,” said the officer. His family is being summoned for questioning as part of the investigation.
