Former Telangana Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president K. Chandrasekhar Rao was discharged from Yashoda Hospital, Somajiguda, Hyderabad on Saturday (July 5, 2025) morning, two days after being admitted for health-related complaints.

The 71-year-old leader was hospitalised on July 3 after experiencing general weakness. A statement issued by the hospital at the time of his admission said that preliminary investigations indicated high blood sugar and low sodium levels, though all other vital parameters were within normal limits. Treatment was started to stabilise his blood sugar levels and correct the sodium deficiency.

Visuals released by the BRS party on Friday showed KCR holding a meeting with party members from his hospital room, where he was briefed on current political developments in the State.
