An Agniveer recruitment rally under the Unit Headquarters Quota (UHQ) will be conducted at the 1 EME Centre in Secunderabad on August 1. The rally is aimed at enrolling eligible candidates into the Indian Army under the Agnipath scheme.
The recruitment drive is open for categories of Agniveer (General Duty), Agniveer (Technical), and Agniveer Tradesmen (10th pass – Chef). Additionally, an open category has been announced for outstanding sportsmen in the disciplines of swimming, diving, and volleyball.
Applicants must be between 17½ and 21 years of age, with birth dates falling between October 1, 2004, and April 1, 2008. Eligible candidates must report at Milkha Singh Stadium, 1 Training Battalion, 1 EME Centre by 6 a.m. to participate in the rally, said a release.
