The scheduled visit of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to Tirupati on Saturday will primarily focus on sanitation and allied issues. After arriving at the Tirupati airport by 11 a.m., Mr. Naidu will reach the Municipal Corporation of Tirupati’s (MCT) integrated waste processing plant at Thukivakam on the city outskirts.

Later, he will pray at the TTD’s Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple at Kapila Theertham by noon, where he will also interact with the stakeholders of ‘Swarnandhra Swachhandra’.

After lunch, he will participate in the ‘Praja Vedika’ programme at the Police Parade Grounds in M.R. Palle and later visit the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham in Alipiri for a brief interaction with the pontiff. He will later reach Renigunta airport and depart to Vijayawada.

Chief Minister’s programme coordinator P. Venkatesh and Tirupati MLA Arani Srinivasulu supervised the arrangements at the various venues along with the Collector S. Venkateswar and MCT Commissioner N. Mourya, while Superintendent of Police V. Harshavardhan Raju inspected the security arrangements.
