Some trains to be cancelled to facilitate commissioning of 3rd line between Vijayawada and Gudur

Due to Non-Interlocking (NI) works being taken up for the commissioning of the third line between Vijayawada and Gudur in the Vijayawada Division, several train services will be affected in mid-August.

Train No. 22707 Visakhapatnam–Tirupati Double Decker Express, scheduled to depart Visakhapatnam on August 14, 16, and 18, will be cancelled. Similarly, Train No. 22708 Tirupati–Visakhapatnam Double Decker Express, leaving Tirupati on August 13, 15, and 17, will also remain cancelled. In addition, four trains will run on diverted routes, eight trains will be regulated, and two trains will be rescheduled during this period, according to K. Saandeep, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Waltair Division.
