The Kochi metro will operate special services on Wednesday for those visiting the Siva Temple in Aluva as part of ‘Karkidaka Vavu’. The trains will thus operate from the Thripunithura terminal station until 11.30 p.m. (instead of the last train from the terminal station at 10.30 p.m.) for them to reach Aluva. One train will leave the station at 11 p.m. and the other at 11.30 p.m. On Thursday, metro services will begin from the Aluva terminal station at 5 p.m. The next train will operate at 5.30 p.m., followed by regular services from 6 p.m., says a KMRL release.
