Social security, welfare fund board pension distribution from July 25 in Kerala

The social security and welfare fund board pensions for July will be disbursed from Friday (July 25), Finance Minister K.N. Balagopal has said. The State government has sanctioned ₹831 crore for the purpose, he said. Nearly 62 lakh beneficiaries are eligible for the monthly payment of ₹1,600 each. In the case of 26 lakh beneficiaries, the pension amount will be transferred directly into their bank accounts. For others, the pensions will be paid directly to their homes through cooperative banks, the Minister said.
