Vizianagaram District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO) S. Jeevan Rani on Saturday underscored the importance of optimum utilisation of technology to enhance healthcare services for students.
She was speaking as the chief guest at the valedictory session of the international conference on Innovations in Healthcare, organised by the School of Paramedics and Allied Health Sciences, Centurion University, Vizianagaram. Dr. Jeevan Rani said well-trained paramedical professionals are well-equipped to adapt to evolving technologies and provide vital support to doctors during diagnosis, treatment, and surgeries.
Centurion University Chancellor G.S.N. Raju and Vice-Chancellor P.K. Mohanthy highlighted the university’s commitment to providing state-of-the-art infrastructure for students pursuing courses in Optometry, Radiology, Physiotherapy, Anaesthesia, Forensic Sciences, and Pharmacy. Experts including D. Vidyasagar, M. Murali Krishna, and N. Lingamurthy delivered presentations on topics such as Radiological Emergencies and Preparedness in Nuclear Medicine, the role of Artificial Intelligence in Ayurveda, and the impact of 5G technology on digital health transformation.
