Officers and elected representatives are set to undergo management training at the Indian Institute of Management – Tiruchi (IIM-T).
The Management Development Programme for Officers and Elected Representatives of the revamped Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) scheme of the Rural Development Department of the State government was inaugurated on July 28, according to a press release.
The programme was launched by R. Anandakumar, Commissioner of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj. P. Saravanan, Dean, Corporate Relations and Faculty Affairs; programme directors Smita Prashant Chattopadhyay and Shalini Parth, faculty and staff from the Executive Education and Consultancy (EEC) office were present.
On July 27, IIM-T hosted Godrej Industries Ltd. for the on-campus launch of its national case competition LOUD (Live Out Ur Dream). The event, organised in collaboration with the IIM-T Placement Committee, attracted over 550 first-year students.
Senior leaders Abhay Parnerkar (CEO, Godrej Foods) and Vidhi Verma (Associate Vice-President, Organisational Development and Effectiveness, Godrej Agrovet) delivered talks that encouraged students to remain anchored to authenticity and value-centric careers, the release said.
